The Koen features all this plus a number plate and BMX styling. Rear coaster and front hand brakes ease the transition to a bigger, hand-break-only bike when they're ready. Plus, a saddle handle makes it easy to comfortably carry or tow the bike when they get tired or use it for hanging storage at home.
SmartStart bikes are engineered specifically for a kid's proportions, smaller grips, and lightweight frame create an easier ride and control. Training wheels can be easily detached, and a saddle handle provides parental support during the learning process, with a chain guard in place to safeguard little hands, feet, and clothing.
The Koen is ideal for riders 1-4 years old or 28-38 inches tall, and arrives partially assembled. Tools needed for assembly include a Philips screwdriver, 4-8mm Allen wrench, and an adjustable wrench.
